The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle says the National Weather Service’s radar detected a tornado touched down Saturday night in the town of Darien and moved through a stretch to Corfu. It says about 30 homes and businesses suffered moderate damage by winds that ranged from 86 mph to 100 mph. It says the category was EF 1 which is the second to weakest level on the Enchanced Fujita Scale.
