Dozens of Simpson County familieswho lived through a nightmare are experiencing the time consuming and costly process of reclaiming their lives. We first met Shawna Mangum five days after an EF-3 twister leveled her Magee trailer carrying away with it her clothing wedding photos and life's mementos. Cows that grazed the property still roam the area. “It's basically just starting over from day one” said the Magee tornado survivor. But even more importantly Mangum's proof of existence from her driver's license to her birth certificate are gone.
