It was recently exhibited in New rleans’ Lower Ninth Ward and at the New rleans Museum of Art during Prospect. 1 New rleans a contemporary-art biennial. The trailer along with an installation detailing the construction and information about movable housing is on view at Rice Gallery. Villinski spoke with the Chronicle’s Douglas Britt.

Warr said that the charges had nothing to do with his role as mayor and that he would continue to run Gulfport a coastal city of about 73000 people. The Warrs are accused of seeking a grant for a storm-damaged beachfront home they owned but did not live in.

Arch Capital increases hurricane loss estimate
MarketWatch 
said Thursday that it expects to report after-tax operating income available for common shareholders in the range of $75 million to $90 million for the 2008 fourth quarter. The forecast reflects an increase of approximately $160 million in its net loss estimate for Hurricane Ike. Arch Capital also said that it expects that the aggregate pre-tax net unrealized and realized losses on its investment portfolio and equity in net losses of investment funds accounted for using the equity method will be in the range of $150 million to $160 million excluding the effects of net foreign exchange losses.

Cullen/Frost Suffers Hurricane Woes

Tornado hits at 80-85 mph

Tin and wood debris from the barn and unused chicken coop scattered throughout the area including into a small cow pen next to the barn. No people or animals were injured. Angila Gutiraz who lives on the property said she her husband and their four children were in Fresno when the tornado hit. A report on the event released Wednesday by the National Weather Service estimated winds at 80 to 85 mph.
