(AP) The government is going to conduct air qualitytests on trailers used for housing hurricane victims. Documentsindicate government lawyers tried to hide reports of high levels offormaldehyde in the trailers. FEMA provided the homes to displacedhurricane victims and thousands of families still live in them. ATLANTA (AP) The Georgia Supreme Court will decide the fate ofa young man sentenced to ten years in prison for having consensualsex with a teen-ager. Genarlow Wilson was 17 at the time. Wilson is now 21 and will remain behind bars until the highcourt rules.

Brooks News-Bulletin Staff Writer; jbrooks@news-bulletin. comRio Rancho Coaches parents and swimmers all had high hopes for Thursday’s District D meet of the Sundance Aquatic Association. The Los Lunas and Belen teams each finished the day having made a huge impact on District D and qualifying many individual swimmers for Saturday’s league-wide season-ending meet. Facing teams from Sandia Heights Rio Rancho and the Tennis Center of Albuquerque the Los Lunas Stingrays and Belen Hurricanes took to Rio Rancho’s Rainbow Pool with a chance to qualify for the league meet by placing in the top three in each event. It wasn’t top-three finishes that always got coaches’ attention as many swimmers used the occasion to improve their personal bests–sometimes by large margins. “We were truly focused today on improving individual times” said Stingrays coach Lori nsae.

The group includes respected MIT meteorology professor Kerry Emanuel perhaps best known for establishing a strong link between hurricane intensity and global warming. Still Renno isn’t without reservations. He’s particularly concerned about the ability to control such a powerful monster. "The amount of energy involved is huge. nce it gets going it may be too hard to stop" he says.
