Last year the builders association sent two Wal-Mart trucks filled with construction supplies to Hurricane Katrina victims. In some cases the supplies come from incorrect sizes wrong colors or excess materials… Much of the town was devastated by a tornado the size of two football fields. The proclamation signed by the governor releases $75000 from the Governor?s Disaster Fund under the Individual Assistance Program. The Arkansas Department of Emergency Management will administer distribution of the funds. Preliminary Damage Assessments are being conducted in Crawford County to determine the type and amount of damage.
