The Red Cross branch director in Las Cruces told KFX a nurse and a shelter volunteer left Saturday morning headed to Eastern New Mexico. Later they were called back after being told they were not needed for the day. Anyone interested in making a donation to help tornado victims during this time of need can contact 1-800-HELP-NW. Donors must specify that they want their donation to go to New Mexico Tornadoes. Major Ron Wildman with the Salvation Army branch in El Paso headed to Clovis Saturday armed with paper products. He told KFX that he was ready and willing to serve the people of the New Mexico community in any way he could.
