Parish officials said Friday in a news release thatemergency managers will monitor the weather around theclock. If the National Weather Service notifies the parish thatall or portions of Jefferson are under a tornado warning orif the parish president decides it is necessary each firestation will sound its siren for three minutes to warn ofthe threat.

Ali Watson hit the first of two free throws to put the Tornado up 53-51 then Jerobia Hill grabbed a rebound and hit a putback to finish off the Lakers in a battle of top regional contenders at Paducah Tilghman. Kayla Cunningham ralled the Lady Lakers with 10 of her 25 points in the third quarter after Calloway fell behind 28-23 at halftime. Watson scored 12 Hill 11 and Bionca Hill 13 as Tilghman’s balanced offense kept the lead much of the game. —- Calloway County (18-11) 9 23 39 51 Paducah Tilghman (21-4) 13 28.
