You could set up a network between the two computers?but if you don’t have the right cables it could be expensive and it might require networking know-how it won’t be easy to buy. There’s always e-mail but that’s not practical for large numbers of large files. The easiest solution might just be. But we’ve been in love with this little device ever since we discovered it at CES a couple of weeks back: Plug one of the Tornado’s two USB cables into a port on one computer and plug the other into a port on the other computer then simply watch as a window pops up on both computers that let you move files between them. That’s it?there’s no software to install and it works with all versions of Windows from 98SE to Vista (you can even move files between computers running different versions of Windows)… Admittedly its $59. 95 cost is a bit beyond what you’d pay for a three-foot crossover cable or a handful of DVDs. But convenience is worth paying for and the Tornado is simply the most convenient method of transferring files between computers we’ve ever seen.
